Hello, and thanks for visiting Cup of SEO. My name is Jim McNelis, I am 30 years old and I live in Northern Virginia. I sit in front of a computer all day and design web sites and perform Search Engine Optimization and Search Marketing for my own web sites as well as my clients. In doing so I have learned a great deal, and I continue to do so each and every day.As a result of my efforts, I feel capable of discussing and reporting on SEO to the masses. Make no mistake, I am still very much a rookie in this world of SEO…not even a blip on the map at the time that I am writing this. My time is yet to come, but in anticipation of this, I am ready to take this next step into the Pro Blogisphere. I intend to provide original, quality content that would interest beginner to intermediate SEOs. I intend to post the content between 12:00am - 6:00am EST, on a daily basis. That way, readers can wake up and check www.cupofseo.com for their daily fix of SEO goodness.
As you may or may not have guessed by now…I am not a professional writer. This will be my biggest challenge as I try to achieve my goals with this blog. Please, if you have any advice or suggestions along the way, I am never to proud to listen to someones opinion. With that said, I have decided to incorporate a certain style to my writing here. I am writing on this blog in a somewhat casual manor when it is appropriate. Thanks for suffering though it all.
I am a huge Google fanboy! Let’s get that out of the way. I like Google and Google’s products, a lot. From Adsense to Webmaster Tools and everything in between; I use it all. For that reason, I will be talking about Google on this blog more that Yahoo or Microsoft, but I will try and cover all bases regularly.
